The Dorn Method, uses gentle movements and guidance to correct any mis-alignments of joints or the spine; there is no manipulation or ‘cracking’. Starting with the correction of uneven leg length which (according to Dieter Dorn - founder) is apparent in almost all of us. The uneven leg length causes the pelvis to become twisted which in turn leads to a crooked spine. The spine is one of the most important areas of the body and has a connection to all our organs and/or systems in our body. This form of manual therapy can be considered very safe since the adjustments are only done in co-operation with the client during through movement. Dorn involves no thrust moves or use of heavy force. Focusing on the alleviation of common back and joint pain including neck pain, hip, knees, shoulder, jaw, etc. Dorn is also used with clients who suffer from migraines or headaches. The therapy aims to restore balance to the body, moving joints and vertebrae back to their natural correct positions.
